Summary
At a small-time TV studio, the crew and (once great, now has-been) director meet Adam, an idealistic, aspiring comedy writer- and nephew of the millionaire channel owner. On a set populated by actoids - robots programmed to act - Adam finds himself falling for Jacie (JC-F31-333), a seemingly faulty actoid, kicking off a journey with far-reaching consequences- and questions of what it is that makes us human.

Pascal Boulet is an actor originally from Paris who moved to LA from NY. There he worked in comedy shows and plays around the city. His credits include Uncle Bob, Naturally Phenomenal, Satire off-Broadway and Fifty Shades of Greyroom. Calvin DiLibero earned a BA in screenwriting from Emerson College where he also wrote and performed sketch comedy. Since graduating in 2019, he’s been slugging it out in the entertainment industry. He’s super stoked to have found The Yard Repertory and to be a part of this wonderful creative community.
Skylar Gaines is thrilled to be participating in The Yard Theater’s triumphant return to live performances following the *ahem* state of the world. If you were watching virtual theatre throughout the pandemic, you may have seen them in Cloud Theatric’s Lady Windermere’s Fan (Arthur Windermere) or The Red Line (Connor Whitten). Pre-lockdown, they could be seen in Assassins (John Wilkes Booth), Young Frankenstein (Frederick Frankenstein), and Butterflies are Free (Don Baker), the latter being another show they were blind in. They’d like to thank their friends and family for their support and for likely being the only folks who’ve read this far.
Shev Glaser Elisheva is a recent grad of Emerson College with a BFA in Theatre and Performance. She has most recently been seen in Cut, a short film that premiered at Screamfest, as well as Is This The One? A short film that premiered at Outfest. This spring, she will be seen in the feature film Maybelline Prince. Elisheva runs the video department for The Happy Broadcast both on TikTok and Instagram.
Anna Gould is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Acting. She has also done intensives at Second City, American Academy of the Dramatic Arts, and the Goodman Theatre. She has recently played Lady Windermere in Lady Windermere’s Fan and Dance Captain/ Ensemble in “The Mystery of Edwin Drood”. She would like to thank her wonderful family for always supporting her dreams and letting her try out weird accents on them.
Dave Hawthorne has been performing for over 50 years including doing stand-up comedy with Billy Crystal in We The People, acting in various tv shows and films, as well as writing for shows and comedians such as Jay Leno. But the best thing Dave says he’s done in his 50 year career is create the Yard Theater company with his best friend John Ennis and all the wonderful actors.
Ari Holub is a lifelong performer, mostly as a musician, and more recently as an actor and comedian. He is a dropout of several top-notch theater arts programs. He has been with The Yard since September 2021.
Brit Kinnard tripped and fell back onto the stage at The Yard for the first time in 18 years, proving that good things happen when you say “yes!” and let the universe sort the rest. She’s really happy to be here and super proud to be part of this group of weirdos.
Julianne Kolb is an actor, writer, improviser and honest to god LA native who is thrilled to be part of the Yard's repertory company. She joins the Yard from UCB where she completed the improv program and formed part of the cast of the Character Team Costello. She has also studied cold reading with Doug Warhit and scene study with Lynette McNeill. She feels equally at home in a theater and on a karaoke stage, and is excited to perform for you on Saturday nights!
Bliss Parsons is over the moon to have returned to theater after an over 13 year hiatus. She has a BA in environmental policy from Mount Holyoke College and an MFA in graphic design from Boston University. Joining the Yard Theater has allowed Bliss to tap back into her love of acting in a nurturing and collaborative environment. She recently wrote a post-Roe themed sketch titled “My Little Justie” produced alongside the Yard Sketch Team which screened at both the Ruby LA’s Micro Sketch Fest, and the “So Fucked it’s Funny” National Abortion Fund Fundraiser at Dynasty Typewriter.
Nath Milburn is a cartoonist, filmmaker, and foodie from Kentucky who focuses mostly behind the camera or curtains. Maybe you'll see him on stage, maybe not. Nath graduated from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2010 and has been in LA since 2014. He’s worked for Nickelodeon, Fox, Disney, Adult Swim, and plenty more. Find him at lilbakerfilms.com or nathmilburn.com.
Yesenia Rego is an actor, director, and miniaturist. She has a BFA from Emerson College and is a national finalist for poetry recitation. She’s built Star Wars sets for Hasbro at ComicCon and done stand-up in greasy burger basements. Her documentary about sugar cane villages in the Dominican Republic has been screened internationally. She sings in a rock band and is excellent at the Playstation 4 game, Rock Band.
Will Todisco is an actor & musician living in LA. Formerly an improv & theater arts teacher for K-8 students at an LA charter school, and Second City LA, he is overjoyed to have been welcomed into such a supportive and talented group at The Yard. His folk trio’s self-titled debut album, Adam Evan & Will, is available online for purchase or streaming. Will is represented by CESD, on-camera commercial, and look for him as co-star Jiggles T. Clown in the soon-to-be-released independent feature, Clown Car: A Love Story, Thanks to John and the amazing management team of The Yard and special thanks to his partner, Renee, for encouraging him to join in the first place.
